I need help on an assignment for PDHPE. I do not do sport due to tendonitis and I am not very interested in it. I am not asking anyone to do my HW but I would like to know some words relating specifically to the sports below so I can use them in my crosswords etc, and maybe some good things to include in a knowledge test. I have to do a crossword, findaword and knowledge test/quiz on each. The knowledge test needs multichoice, true/false, short answer Q's and diagrams (most help with diagrams please!):

-Cricket
-Hockey
-Soccer
-AFL
-Touch
-Oztag
-Tennis
-Basketball
-Volleyball
-European handball

I don't want to be snarky, but wow, you're not trying very hard!

1. Your question is essentially "I want the answer content, but it's OK, I'll assemble it into the assignment myself."
2. OK, maybe if your assignment were hard, you'd get away with that one, but "find some words relating to common sports"? It doesn't get much easier than that. How hard is it to look up each in wikipedia or something similar? Do you have tendonitis in your fingers?

Well, I do realise it probably looks like I'm looking for others to do it for me. I do have lots of stuff on the different sports, the problem is that they are all generic/the same type things, like nets/balls/bounce/hit etc, I was just looking for more specific things. And their official sites only have celebrity stuff :s
But it's fine, I wasn't really expecting a reply.

^Hey fellow Aussie! As a fellow Aussie, I can sympathize with the NSW PDHPE syllabus sucking. (I was so happy when I didn't have to do it anymore ) I never had to do this busy work you do, I did have other lame assignments though.

What about looking up the equipment for each sport, like racquets, mouthguards, shin pads etc. Also terminology like spike, ace, court, back line, dive, referee, serve, antenna, ed card, underhand serve, volley, etc.

Just google or flick through wikipedia pages.

Thanks cadbury, I didn't really think about that type of equipment - like protective equipment.
