I just passed my pre-provisional motor-cycle test! So excited, because this is the third time I've had my L's but the first time I've had enough oomph to do the next stage.

My instructor was great and the other testees were a really nice bunch. Three were also teachers so we obviously had the same thought of getting it done over the holidays. The other girl had a 650 BMW single and she was riding that thing like a stunt rider. DJ, you are awesome.

*giggle* You said Testees... :)

Congratulations! I rode a scooter for about 18 months up in North Queensland and absolutely loved it. Whilst no where near as hard core as a motorbike (or anywhere near, even!), I loved the feeling of putting a helmet on and zipping around everywhere. One day, when I don't have children to ferry around, I'd like to get my full motorbike licence and go bigger, but that's probably another 10 years away yet.

Then we'll have to form the "Born to be Mild" Club! :D

Cheers
Di

"Born to be Mild"! I love it. I rode my (dad's) scooter and I must say I felt pretty tame next to the others. Dad's talking about an LX125 Vespa, but I'd rather go on a holiday. ;) Although, if I can get a green one...

Congrats! I got my motorcycle license this spring, and I've since been riding a Suzuki SV650. I totally love it - it's such an awesome feeling!

Congrats on passing the test and welcome to the club! Haha.

Congratulations to you!

A tartan patterned Vespa, now that's would be something to go for.

Ah, hummingbird, you did make me smile, chortle, in fact!

I have a black car with serious sun/weather damage to the bonnet. It looks like someone has torn the paint to leave splodges of grey amongst the black. I've toyed with the idea of having the damaged parts painted in tartan with tromp l'oeil to make it look like the metal is peeled back to reveal the 'true' heart of the car. But a tartan LX 125, that would be awesome!

And then, seek (on google) and ye shall find the image above.

Lurrve!
