Professional Ballet DancerPrinceton, NJ, United States 08520Deadline: Thu May 31, 2012 Available Date: 9/15/11 Contact: clairevanbever@gmail.com
Hello, my name is Claire and I am currently dancing with American Repertory Ballet in Princeton, NJ. I have a background in classical and contempory ballet and dance history. I trained at The Rock School, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Pacific Festival Ballet and The Dance Conservatory at Purchase College. I have performed at Jacobs Pillow, in Becket, MA and most recently in Paris, France. I would love to be able to share my knowledge of the professional dance world with your students, and to be able to enrich them with the passion that I find in dance. I teach mostly ballet, but I am comfortable teaching improv and contemporary class as well. Please contact me at the email listed, especially if your school is located in NJ, as that is where I am currently located. 2 Replies to Ballet Teaching Position |

Claire,
I came across your post on dance.net and wanted to talk to you about a ballet director and teacher poistion we have open. This is a wonderful oppurtunity but would mean a relocation for you and I was unsure if you would be willing to talk or not. I was immediately drawn to your post because you want to share your passion of dance with students. This is what we expect from our teachers. My wife and I own a well respected dance studio in NE Oklahoma, north of Tulsa. We have an enrollment of around 250 students and are losing our Ballet director of 7 years to the University of Utah. If think you could become seriously interested send me a message and we will take it from there. If not, keep sharing that passion for dance!
