Does it have to be from the 40's/50's in particular? I say that because there are a few newer releases that are inspired by that era that are great to tap to.

flapper is not 40s/50s. flapper is 1920s era. Parov Stelar is a modern artist that makes music remniscent of the 20s for a modern take on the era.
