Glad to see everyone is making progress! I registered last Friday and was surprised that I got all the classes I wanted. The Holocaust class was full, but I snagged a spot on the waiting list and got a world literature class with an awesome professor for the same day/time slot. If I don't get into the Holocaust class and stick with the World Lit class, I'll be DONE with the last of my generals after next semester.
Monday
12-12:50 Intro to Physical Anthropology (lab)
Tuesday/Thursday
9:30-10:45 Language and Culture
11-12:15 Anthropology of Sex
12:30-1:45 World Literature
2-3:15 Greek and Roman Mythology
Wednesday/Friday
10-10:50 Intro to Physical Anthropology (lecture) |

Considering it's still Fall Quarter and there is still Winter Quarter after that, um no LOL. |

Your school has quarters? Weird! Every college I've heard of has Fall semester which is September-December and Spring which is January-April. |

Yeah, some colleges are weird. We run 4 quarters a year (Fall (Sept-Dec) Winter (Jan- March) Spring (March- June) Summer (July-August).

I'm jealous...I'm so sick of my classes by the end of a 16 week semester |

We have Fall (Sept-Dec) and Winter (Jan-Apr) which are 14ish week semesters, I believe. Then there is a short Spring (May-June) and a short Summer (July-August) and those semesters are 7 weeks long and considered very compressed courses. The same quantity/variety of classes are not offered during those short terms but a lot of mandatory classes that are pre-requisites are offered. Last year I took 2 classes in the Spring which was awesome. Projects aren't as big because there isn't enough time to teach all the same material. You get mostly the same course but it's nice to fly through the unimportant stuff. I got good grades in them, but a lot of people screw up because you have to be ready to jump in and get prepared for midterms 3 weeks into a class. I'm going to do Spring again this year to try and catch up/get ahead. |

God I'm going to be so dead after next semester... But hopefully it'll be worth it and I'll get out of undergrad in 2 years and then I'll be able to graduate with a DPT in 5 years instead of six! Fingers crossed. |

Woo hoo last semester before graduating!!
I don't actually register for classes until Nov. 21, so there is a chance things might change if classes fill up. I have the worst registration time ever, so I'm hoping there are still spots when I register. But if everything goes according to plan, this will be my schedule:
Monday/Wednesday:
10:20-12:20 Concepts of Design (Art class)
2:00-4:00 Drawing (Art class)
Tuesday:
9:40-11:10 Sociology Thesis
1:00-5:00 Internship
Thursday:
NO CLASSES
Friday:
9:00-1:00 Internship
Just for reference, I'm a Sociology major. I completed all my requirements early on in college, so this last semester I'm only taking my Thesis class and 2 art classes. Yes, I have to do an undergrad thesis. The internship is also part of that requirement.
Crossing my fingers I get the classes I want! |

Argh, I just got an email this morning saying that one of my 2nd year electives (Foundations of E-Business) was cancelled due to low enrollment. Should be fun trying to fit something in... |

^ I just wanted to update that I did find something to fit into my schedule. It was rather easy, actually. I now have an Anthropology class on Mon and Wed called ANTH 270 - Culture, Heatlh, and Illness.
Can't wait to be able to take another Anth class and to not have to spend 5 days a week at the Business campus like I've done the last couple semesters. |

I signed up several weeks ago, and I don't think I'm gonna change anything:
Monday/Wednesday
12:05-12:55 PM: Survey of Modern Spanish Literature
1:20-2:10 PM: Spanish Civilization
2:25-5:25 PM: Disability and Gender in Film (SO so so excited for this one)
Tuesday/Thursday
11:00 AM-12:15 PM: Advanced Conversation (Spanish)
Friday
12:05-12:55 PM: Survey of Modern Spanish Lit
1:20-2:10 PM: Spanish Civilization
It's not too heavy, but I'll have work and an internship, plus the usual extracurricular stuff, so I'll be busy enough. |
