Hiya my Abbie has a white suit and green fairy washing up liquid gets tan straight off. Cold water rub it in, foam it up and rinse and it should be gone fingers crossed xx |

Hi Sandra,
Sadly, once the costume's gone pink, there isn't much you can do about it.. You may be able to lighten it using Vanish, but it probably won't come back 100%.
Best bet is to ensure the costume is washed asap after use, but even then not guaranteed to come out perfect.
It seems to depend on the material, not just the colour, as to whether the tan leaves a pink stain.
Best bet - change which tan you use! (We're all going to have to when the new rules come out.)

Hi Sandra
I had the same problem with a white slow cossie Megan wore in un 12 I tried everything to get tan stains out but nothing worked, dont know where the pink stains are in Shelbys cossie but in Megans they were under her arms eventually what I had to do was take cossie to a dressmaker and she was able to cut out stains and alter ,costume in a way that no one would notice, maybe the designer of suit can do this for you, cant think of any other way , we saw this suit on Shelby at Buncrana, its really stunning, really hope youn can get it sorted

hi, have to admit with Jo, some materials are susceptible to 'pink' staining...my daughter's old pairs trousers were that silvery white material went pink on the inside of legs and now has same material in new pairs waistband and yes got a pink tinge..thankfully on the inside so luckily ok, have used different tans over time so think its in most tans...
Glad got most of pink out... Ace bleach !!! heard of it but presumed it was a bleach...dar not much of a housewife am I ...:D
does this ace work on coloured cozzies then ????

If you have white costumes it's always wise to wash the tan off before a comp, the tan can be just as good the day after washing, most mothers say don't w ash the tan off I say wash it and it's still as dark the day after xx |
