You have a shot, but you need to start dancing again as soon as possible and working on your voice, if you can. They don't really have an age cap, but they want someone who can learn their shows quickly and perform it consistently including singing and dancing. |

I agree with the above. The competition for good dancers has increased. I have former students who dance on cruise ships and the level of dancing equals Broadway in talent, on most ships. Years ago, not so much, so you need to step up your game. It's not about age, it's ability and showmanship. |

They don't have an OFFICIAL age cap, but they definitely like to hire young and then get rid of them after just a few years. So yeah, you're past your sell-by date for cruise ships/theme parks. But they have open auditions so it couldn't hurt to try. Although you don't mention tap, and I believe all the cruise lines teach a tap combo during auditions (which are BRUTAL, btw) |

Panic, that may be true, not sure, but I have two students in their 30's who have been dancing since their mid-twenties and still going strong. |

It's not going to hurt to try. What's the worst that can happen? They tell you no? |

That is what I always say... AND... NEVER GIVE UP! If you do not make it the first time, train more, try again. Auditioning is a lesson, in itself. |
