All right, I'm back from my honeymoon and sorting through pictures, so here are the pics my family took of our wedding. I'll be adding more momentarily, since I have more than 10 that I want to share. These are not really in order.

3. There was another wedding going on at our venue at the same time as ours, so we were limited as to where we could take photos. Most of our formal posed pics were taken in the middle of this road.

All in all, we had a wonderful day, the weather was beautiful, everything went very smoothly, and I couldn't stop smiling almost all day. It was pretty much perfect.

And from what I can see of your wedding party, everyone looked awesomely coordinated and your color scheme was perfect! I was thinking of you! You look so lovely. I work at a big hotel where lots of weddings go on and I'm always surprised at how many brides and grooms look almost bored and wary on their wedding day. You look radiant and beautiful! I wish you many many many many many many happy years!

I love the pics with my dad too. It doesn't look like any of our family members managed to capture a pic of me hugging my dad at the end of the aisle, before I joined Mark, but hopefully our professional shots will include those. My dad and I were both laughing a lot as we came down the aisle because my train was gathering leaves as we went, and I may also have been a bit giddy at that point. And then once I got to where I could see all my friends and family standing up for me, I almost lost it, it was so emotional. I loved it.

I was so pleased with my hair and makeup, so thanks for the comments on the hair. My regular stylist, who has been cutting my hair for three years, and who had done two hair trials with me for the wedding, couldn't do my hair and makeup on my wedding day because her grandmother passed away. So I had someone I'd never even met before (from the same salon), but she did a beautiful job, so it all turned out great. I don't have any shots that really show the back of my hair, but again, I'm sure the pros captured some.

Cien, you mentioned that I looked relaxed - I totally was! I was nervous in the morning before I got hair and makeup done, but once I started getting dressed and everything, I was fine. I was afraid my mom would be stressing out and would therefore stress me out, but she was great.

Uber - Thanks! I think he's a stud too, although I generally prefer him a bit scruffier.

Sumayah - Yes, the colors looked great once we got everyone together. My bridesman's shirt was almost an exact match to my bridesmaid's dress, and their colors looked great with my sister's darker dress... The groomsmen and best man all looked great together, and the tie I chose for my cousin, who was escorting my mom, matched her outfit almost perfectly. And the bouquets looked great too. So, ultimately, there were lots of different shades of lavender and purple, but it all looked great together!

Nienna - I think a lot of people are just nervous, either because they're wanting everything to go perfectly, or they are nervous about the actual commitment they're making, or nervous about how their friends and families will get along, or whatever. I know I already said this, but I was just not nervous at all, and the only thing Mark was worried about was the ceremony, because they had accidentally used the wrong one during the rehearsal. So once we could tell he was using the right one, Mark relaxed too, and then we were just excited.

PinUp - I love the hugging picture too, and the first dance one. Glad I was able to brighten up your Monday.

What beautiful pictures! Congratulations on your marriage. I really liked your dress and I really liked the shot of the flowers in your first post. It was very pretty. And your husband is quite handsome, lol! Everyone just looked so good and you looked radiant.

So pretty! Your venue looks beautiful- is that a gazebo-type thing the ceremony is in? My favourite photo is the one of you two walking down the aisle. You just look SO happy and excited!

Oh Jonelle, I love love LOVE your pictures! You look so beautifully happy and glowing--everyone looks so happy! It's impossible not to smile when looking through the photos. And of course, I loooove your wedding colors, and the venue looks gorgeous, and the flowers gorgeous... so much gorgeousness! (It's late; synonyms are just too much for my brain to handle.)

Celebrian and Celestia - Thank you for the compliments on the flowers. My mom used to be a florist, so she did both bridesmaids' bouquets as well as my bouquet, and she accented the lanterns I used for centerpieces with ivy. She did all of the bouquets out of silk flowers, which means I'll be able to keep mine forever. She incorporated lace that was her mother's and grandmother's into my bouquet as well. She really did a beautiful job.

Ginger - I guess none of the pictures show it very well, but our "altar" was basically just a raised cement platform in the shape of a half-circle with columns going around the edge. The columns were lit from the bottom up at night, so we went back during the reception and had our photographers take some pictures of us standing up there.

Riedfidler - Thank you! I loved the dress both with and without the sleeves, so I kept them on during the ceremony and formal pictures and took them off for the reception.

And thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments! It's so nice to hear that the happiness I felt that day is evident in the pictures. It really was such a joyful day. The only hiccup was when one of my friends stepped on my train and basically broke my bustle, so after that I had to hold my train up while I was dancing. No biggie. Everything else was perfect.

^That almost happened at my best friend's wedding. She had a pretty impressive train that bustled & I almost stepped on her a few times. We managed to keep her intact, though.

EDIT: And apparently there's a slideshow at the bottom with a bunch more photos, which I didn't notice until my mom pointed it out. *facepalm* Enjoy!
