Highland - Choreography Looking for a more "dramatic" hornpipe song en>fr fr>en By Cheesemoo Comments: 416, member since Mon Jun 23, 2008On Fri Sep 30, 2011 11:19 AM
Hello!
My group this year is doing a choreography in which we are shipwrecked sailors and we are looking for a slightly more dramatic hornpipe-ish music. We're doing hornpipe steps, so the tempo has to suit that, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a strict hornpipe as long as it's still ocean-ey.
It doesn't have to be totally serious, either, the reason we sunk, we have decided, is because our captain was drunk, so yeah.
We're primarily looking for something with a good beat and strong drums.
Any ideas? 2 Replies to Looking for a more "dramatic" hornpipe song |

You've probably already found a song by now but I just saw your message and wanted to share our group's hornpipe to Rampant's Revenge by Albannach. It worked well with hornpipe steps!

Always been a fan of the King's Singers' version of What Shall We Do (with the Drunken Sailor), but don't know if you're allowed to have lyrics |
