It's funny how different groups of people in your life can have a preconceived notion about what you're "supposed" to look like. My dance friends mostly see me in stretchy, comfortable clothing. My colleagues see me in much dressier attire. But I was dressed very, very casually at work today because I was on my way to direct a remote broadcast, and everybody couldn't stop saying, "I've never seen you in runners before! And you're wearing jeans!!"

Yes, so my unusually casual work outfit today was:

My daily uniform this week, which I have been donning for strenuous activities such as book-reading and bon-bon-eating, consists of the following:

--brightly coloured knee socks overtop the leggings
--big slouchy calf-height slippers (it is really cold at my parents' house)
--long tank top in black or grey
--comfy hooded cardigan in grey, or a huge slouchy wool sweater
--a blanket that accompanies me at all times (did I mention it was cold here?)
