When I tried to answer, it said that it was to late to answer on the previous post, so I made a new one! I love reading everyone's surveys! Go assistants!

Name: Maria
Do you go by any special name? Miss Maria
How do you get to the classes you assist? I drive

What classes do you assist? Creative movement, 3-4 tap/ballet, 5-7 tap/ballet/jazz, 8-10 ballet/jazz
Have you ever been at the studio so long (on one particular day) that you need to bring food? Yes, I always bring dinner, or go to Subay which is in the same plaza
Have you ever had anything that you fear might cause your SO to not let you continue assisting? Yes, because I was never a favorite. I was always ignored and really didn't exist

And some new questions...

How did you become a TA? I was asked right before my senior year of higschool. One of the most defining moments of my life!
Do you want to keep teaching when you're older? Yes! Dance is my passion and I will never stop!
What kind of responsibilities do you have as a TA? I basically coteach with my teacher. With the babies I do everything from tieing shoes, taking kids to the bathroom. With everything else I help lead class, lead warm ups class when the teacher isnt in the room, help with choreo, and I generally tend to pick the recital musci, I also help pick costumes...
Are you the only TA for the class(es) you assist with or are there others? There is another girl for creative movement
How long have you been assisting for? 5 years
What's your favorite part of the job? Sharing my passion of dance with others
What part do you struggle with? Probably being manipulated by the cute ballerinas lol.
Are there any cute/funny stories you'd like to share? One little girl took off her pants duing class and she had nothing but tights underneath
What tips do you have for other TA's? Enjoy it, make your focus helping the teacher, not being friends with the girls, especially if they are close to your age. Do NOT talk or text on the phone during class. You are there to tech not socialize.
Anything else you want to share? I hope that everyone gets to experience teaching during some point of their dance lives! nIt is such a rewarding experience!

What kind of responsibilities do you have as a TA? I basically am there to be able to individually help students that are struggling so my teacher can work with everyone else. My job is to lead bar, learn and help choreography, stretch now and help them with their flexibility, turns, spotting, splits ect..

How long have you been assisting for? 5 years
What's your favorite part of the job? Getting to see the look on my students faces when they accomplish something and getting to know them and watch them grow and mature into wonderful dancers.
What part do you struggle with? I get too attached to the girls. I feel like their my family and it sucks when one stops dancing :/
Are there any cute/funny stories you'd like to share? One time i was teaching a six year old who was new to the studio, she told me to look at her and then mooned me... she quit a couple weeks later ahaha.... Also my dance teacher was talking to my 11 year olds about The Abby Lee Pyramid and how they'd love it and my teacher was like " none of you would ever want to pick who the best one in the class is because it would hurt other peoples feelings, you couldn't do it" and one girl Kathleen turns to my teacher and said "I could" .. My teacher said " say it." and Kathleen then realized she didn't want to say the real thing so she turns and says "Erin is the best one in the class" It was so cute.
What tips do you have for other TA's? My teacher always says that whenever i teach she's surprised that my cheeks don't hurt because i'm smiling the whole time. My biggest advice would be to love it and enjoy it,because if you genuinely feel it the kids will tell and it will really help them feel you are there supporting them.
Anything else you want to share? nahhhhh :)
