I am helping some young ladies start a performing ballet company -- I am VERY new to this! How do I go about getting music and pre-choreographed work for classic ballets? Are there any websites I can go to? Thanks! 2 Replies to Where to purchase or find pre-choreographed ballets |

You might want to post this on the "Ask a Teacher" or "Ask a Studio Owner" boards. |

The big choreographers usually have a trust/foundation that oversees licensing and staging of each piece.
some examples
balanchine.com . . .
jeromerobbins.org . . .
www.goucher.edu . . .
You submit a request and then negotiate terms and conditions. And then you both agree on who will oversee the staging (this person's fee is usually negotiated separately from the license fee AFAIK). |
