Can anybody give me some arm strengthening moves? If my arms were stronger, my back walkover would be flawless, and i would eaaily get my hand stands. Also, tips on gaining height in aerials would be nice. I can only get them sometimes and i need them down for an acro routine. Thamks! :)

push ups push up push ups! And not the "girly" knees on the ground kind. Seriously, when I did gymnastics I'm sure I did at least 200 push ups a work out (not all at once!). You don't need any special equipment so it's easy to do at home. You can also do handstand pushups with the help of a friend or a against the wall. Handstands against the wall and holding as long as you can, can also help to some extent. We also did wheelbarrow races with pushups included (every 10 steps we had to do five pushups or something like that with our friend still holding our legs in the air). If you have access to bars of some sort pull ups and leg lifts while hanging off the bar are good too. Most gymnasts don't do any type of actual weight training at least not until they are older and doing more advanced stuff. That can help, but I really think pushups will be your best friend. The weight of your own body is all you need.

When I was student my teacher told us to play on the monkey bars. It didn't seem like that much of a workout, but when I tried to do them at the park with my daughter, I was proven wrong. I always tell my students young and old to play on the monkey bars to help strenghten their arms.
