I'm VERY happy to (finally) announce that Hubby and I are expecting baby #3! I'm 13.5 weeks along right now (about 3ish months), but we've been holding off on telling anyone until we got some health issues cleared up. Now that everything is good to go, we've let family know and now get to tell the rest of the world!

S/he is due April 29th- 2 days before my oldest son's 4th birthday.

:D :D :D :D :D

He or she better come April 28th!! I want a birthday buddy! lol I know two people with April 29th as birthdays (the one is a good friend of mine who was born the same year...exactly 25 hours and 4 minutes after me :P and the other was a friend's daughter)

Aw, thanks everyone! <3

BeautifulMistake, I would be THRILLED if the little one came a day early- my son was 4 days overdue and my daughter was 8 days overdue. I hate walking around on my due date thinking "I should have my baby nowwww !", lol. I have a feeling I'll still go over (my kids just need a little longer to bake), but I'll be hoping for your birthday!

Sammy, Digory has turned into SUCH a little man! He's already so sweet and helpful that I'm not worried about having more kids than arms :D He's settled really nicely into being a good older brother for Evelyn, so I'm positive that he'll do just as great a job with the new baby. I'm really interested to see how Evie acts, though. She LOVES anything "baby" right now, so I'm hoping she adjusts well too.

Thanks again all! We're pretty stoked :)

Thank you everyone! I REALLY just love how wonderful and supportive DDN is. *group hug*

Sunday I hit my first milestone and happily hopped into the second trimester. I LOVE the second trimester because I'm not huge yet, but the morning sickness is gone. Since I'm planning on competing through December, I'm doing my best to stick to a very healthy and rounded diet to keep me going through my dance classes (and running after the other kiddos, lol). I'm actually smaller right now than I was when I was pregnant with my first (their due dates are right on top of each other and I remember what sizes I was with him), and it's neat to see that just because it's my third child doesn't mean that my body's just giving up and stretching out right now :D

Now if I can keep myself away from the Halloween candy, I'll be good to go!

Congrats!

My cousin had 3 kids in 4 years and then quit. I don't think I could do it. More power to you.

Haha, thanks! My mom had 9 kids over 20 years and the idea of my oldest brother being old enough to be my youngest brother's father always kind of weirded me out, so I've never been a fan of the idea of spacing my kids WAY out unless it was absolutely necessary.
I'm just banking on the fact that we're looking at a 3-4 kid size family, and that means that if we DO have another after this we're looking at the youngest heading off to college before I'm 45. That'll mean we'll be empty nesters and will have the means/time/youth to romp around the world like we've always wanted to do! Works for me ;)

Didn't you home birth the last time? Do you plan on doing that again?

It really does work too!

I'm 44 and we have three more years of schooling and then we're done, not that I'm counting them of course :D I did have a gap between my first and my younger three though.

There's a lot to be said for for having your kids young and close together.

All of my three younger ones were home deliveries and I found it so much less stressful for me than my one hospital delivery.

Congratulations to you on your five aside team :)

Oh hey I didn't see this over here. Such happy news!

YAY!!! Congratulations! :D

Coming from a 2-kid family myself, I view anything more than that as being quite a handful, lol, but of course I'm biased. ;) Does Digory know you're preggers? I forget how old he is now.
