Mine is 5 or 6 years older - I'm 29 and he's 34 or 35 (I can't remember exactly!). He sometimes jokes about a generation gap between us, but really the only "generation gap" has to do with which cartoons and tv shows we watched when we were kids/teens (he watched the Dukes of Hazzard and I watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch). Our differences have to do more with culture than age (he's from Mexico and moved to Canada 6 years ago to do his Master's degree, and I was born/raised in Canada), though we enjoy learning from each other in that respect.

There are religious differences too (I'm a religious church-going Catholic, he's a lapsed Catholic and agnostic), but he respects my views and the fact that he stayed with me even though I won't go all the way sexually with him shows that he really cares for me and has feelings for me (he has gone MIA a few times in the past and admitted it's because he was frustrated with that, but he always came back when he realized he missed me).

I get mistaken for my dad's wife ALL. THE. TIME. He's 56 and looks like he's in his early 40's. Depending on how I'm dressed, it's hard to tell how old I am. It's so awkward when we're out and someone's like "Oh, your husband is..." and I'm like "You mean my dad is..?". Though it is pretty funny to see their reactions. It also probably doesn't help that we still have the same last name.

I'm 6 months and one week older then him.

I am 4 years younger than my boyfriend which is not a big age gap. by the time the difference in girls and guys maturity balances it out it is pretty much even

I have only ever dated older guys. Something about being the "older" one in a relationship really puts me off.
