I'm wanting to buy a wedding present for a friend off of her registry, but the wedding is tomorrow. I'm unclear, if I buy it off of the registry is it shipped to me or to her directly? Or would it be better for me to go out and buy a present locally tomorrow and then bring it to the reception? Or am I able to send her a gift later, as it feels kind of strange to bring it to the wedding / reception? This is my first wedding, and so I'm really confused as to how to deal with this. The registries I'm looking at are Bed, Bath, and Beyond and The Pampered Chef, if it makes any difference. Thanks for the help! 3 Replies to Registry Question- help needed ASAP! |

It will usually say on the registry that gifts are being shipped to the address designated by the bride and groom. It's okay to bring the gift to the wedding reception if that is your preference. It's also absolutely fine to have the gift delivered after the wedding. That's usually my preference as I think the bride and groom have enough to deal with on their wedding day, but neither option would be incorrect.
I haven't ordered from a Pampered Chef registry, but I have ordered several times from bridal registries at Bed, Bath and Beyond with no problems. Gifts were shipped very promptly. They'll put a gift card in with it so that they'll know it's from you. There's space to write a message which will be printed on the card. |

If you choose off the registry correctly it should ship to the address the bride and groom provided (their house, their parents house, something like that). It is convenient for them because they don't have to worry about packing all the gifts in a car to take home. There is nothing wrong with picking up a gift and taking it to the wedding. If you decide to ship it could be a nice gesture to get a card on the way to the wedding. |

Thank you for the help everyone! I wound up getting something from their registry to be shipped to their house, and I'll make a card to bring to the wedding tomorrow. Thank you! |
