James and I have been laughing at his bad luck, because pretty much every time anything cool is going to happen at school, he misses school.

School picture day, he lost his voice and was too embarassed to go to school with no voice, so he stayed home. He didn't confess the embarassment until the day was about half over, otherwise I would have told him to buck up, and sent him to school.

Class Halloween party, he gets sent home with pink eye.

Makeup school picture day, James can't go because he was sent home the day before throwing up, and wasn't throwing up anymore, but hadn't been 24 hours fever free, so he couldn't go back to school.

And, guess what just came out? The sign up list for the class Christmas party! Let's see how the kid can kill himself this time!

Just for the heck of it - anybody elses kids managed to put together a string of bad luck like that? James might get a kick out of your stories! :)

I don't have a kid, but I am always injured, or sick...I should just live in a bubble! I mean, I walked into a wall yesterday, with my possibly fractured wrist, before an exam.

7 Years - Missed Christmas day because I had spent all Christmas Eve throwing up. I woke up, got my presents, went back to sleep for the whole day.

10 Years - I stapled my thumb to a piece of paper and missed out on working on our projects on different countries.

12 Years (I think) - I was rollerblading...down the drive way. And I crashed into a rose bush. I missed out on rollerblading with my brother.

13 Years - I missed my dance Christmas concert, school social and year 8 musical because I had my tonsils out.

13 (or 14) Years - Fell into a ditch on camp and missed out on doing anything for the rest of the camp because I rolled my ankle.

14 Years - Broke my toe at dancing and I tried doing some team work activities at school, like with the skis (with 6 people...) and then I fell off the back. So I missed that.

16 Years - Got Bronchitis on the Ski Trip (first time at the snow) and only got to be out in the snow twice in the week. Same day I found out I had Bronchitis, I nearly put my head through a glass window.

16 Years - Almost fractured my wrist again at volley ball training. Turns out I severely sprained it and missed the entire volley ball season.

There's probably more...a lot more, knowing me. :P
