I'm currently attending Florida State University as a dance major, and I'm trying to figure out what to do over the summer. I really need to be working so that I can save up money, since I'm too busy to work during the year. On the other hand, I also can't afford to not dance all summer since the dance major here is competitive and quite intensive. My hometown doesn't really have much to offer in the way of dance classes, so while I would love to go home for the summer and work, there's no where to take dance. I also can't stay in Tallahassee, where FSU is located, because there also isn't really anywhere to take dance classes, at least during the summer. The university doesn't offer summer dance classes other then a two week dance intensive. Anyone have any ideas for what to do over the summer? Ideally I'd like to find somewhere I can dance at and also intern, so that I can save up some money.
