My Furby died horrifically and scared us all half to death!

I first had a moment like this when I was at the theatre and the play had a scene involving the rewinding of a cassette tape with a pencil. There were some kids who looked to be about 9 year olds who obviously had no idea what was happening.

And speaking of Tamagotchis, what about Nanos? They were pretty much the same thing, only they were virtual animals like dogs and cats instead of unidenified gremlins or whatever Tamagotchis were supposed to be. I was so impressed when my puppy grew into a dog. Keeping it alive for so long was my crowning glory.

I can't remember the rules to 4-square, which makes me sad. And I lacked the coordination to master jump rope

.... The dark is like the movies, the movies like a show, a show is like (?) tv set and that is all.... I know I know my ma, I know I know my pa, I know I know my sister with the 40 acre bra (I'm missing something)... My mom gave me a nickel, My dad gave me a dime, My sister gave me a boyfriend, his name is Frankenstein. He made me wash the dishes, he made me wash the floor, he made me wash underwear, so I kicked him out the door.. I kicked him over London, I kicked him over France, I kicked him to Hawaii, where he did the hula dance! (where we then screamed something about hula's)

Despite my age, I remember quite a few of those items.

My wife had the biggest collection of Tamagochis ever....she was the school principal and whenever one went off it was her's. Message to kids...leave them home. Ditto Pokemon.

Did anybody else watch Zoom? I was in love with that show. I'd come home from school, sit in my inflatable chair, and watch Zoom. I even submitted recipes and such to Zoom in hopes that they make it onto the show. My favorite was Zoe. I wished I could be on Zoom because I wanted to live in a world where girls and boys sat around and discussed topics and made crafts together.

My sister and I are 8 years apart (me being older), and I was so confused when she bought Polly Pockets for the first time and they were huge. I was like, "I thought the point was that they fit in your pocket..."

I remember everything on that list. Did anyone else watch Toonami on Cartoon Network? It was mostly anime if I remember correctly. I loved Sailor Moon. I also loved the Nickelodeon cartoons- Rugrats, Doug, Hey Arnold, Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Tom and Jerry Kids, Angry Beavers...

There was also Nick Jr. with Face and Muppet Babies, Eureka's Castle, Allegra's Window...

What was that show with the elephants where they sang the song that went "skinemarinky dinky dink, skinemarinky do, I love youuuu"?

I think there was also a show called USA High or something like that that I liked. It came on around the same time as Full House. Speaking of Full House, I was obsessed with the Olsen twins and had tons of their different movies, both the "party" movies and the mystery ones.
