Hey y'all. I haven't been around DDN for a while, busy. I am going to keep this update brief for legal purposes, but I am getting divorced and have a nasty custody battle on my hands. We have been separated since July and sharing custody of Rosemary in an informal arrangement. I didn't file in the beginning because we were going to try to work it out outside of court and with a therapist...boy was that a mistake. Anyway, I have hopes that in the end, the best situation for Rosemary will prevail and that everyone can learn to get along. That's about all I can say right now, but yeah. Getting divorced.

Please don't regret your decision to try and keep things civilized with the help of a therapist. It is no shame of yours if the reality wasn't all you hoped. Your intention was to do the very best thing for your child, and if it didn't work out...well, your intentions were loving.
