i have had mild interest for a class for middle-school-aged children in my schedule. however, the only timeslot i have available in the schedule is from 8-9pm.

the other option is that i just aggressively advertise an older students' class for that timeslot, and hope for the best....[i will have to advertise regardless for a different high school-aged class on a different night at the same time]

A reply - better late than never, sorry!

I would consider it too late for my almost 11 year old. I took my daughter along a couple of times to my adult class this year, which didn't finish until 9pm, and it was a killer both times. The problem is that you still have to get them home, have a shower, teeth, and then steeled down for sleep, so by the time she was asleep, it was about 10.15pm. I then have to get the kids to school by 7am in before school care because I work an hour away and have to be there by 8am, so all tld shed only had about 7.5 hour's sleep. Not good for her concentration levels at school.

I guess I'd canvas the parents of the children, though - if the children can sleep into 7.30am, then it may not be so bad.

Yes, kids at that age need to eat and get to bed at a decent hour. I never had a class, for that age, ending past 8:30.

At the studio my kids dance at they have classes till 9:30 some nights during the week and there are some middle school aged kids in the classes. Luckily for us the latest we are at the studio is 8:30 but my kids are elementary school aged so that is plenty late for us
