Fashion I need a good pair of date heels. en>fr fr>en By YumYumDoughnut Comments: 6543, member since Sat Jul 10, 2004On Tue Dec 13, 2011 10:07 AM
I have about 25 pairs of heels, but they are all the cheaper kind. ( Between 30-75 dollars). Because of their lack of quality, they start hurting after a while.
I would really like to invest in a timeless pair of heels that I can wear on the night out. I would like to keep them between 3-4 inches, comfortable, and not too bright.
Can heel snobs help me find the perfect pair? Thank you in advance! 10 Replies to I need a good pair of date heels. |

I think you can't go wrong with Louboutins, if you're willing to spend the money. Mine are beautiful and surprisingly comfortable.
I bought a classic shape in black snakeskin, and they're perfect.
Some nice classic ones:

EDIT: Sorry! I missed the budget thing. Back with more reasonable options in a sec!
Check out the second pair and the second from last pair on the front page. Love. |

I don't know how classic or contemporary you are looking for, but I find Via Spiga heels to be very comfortable and classic.
If you want something a little more flashy they do have other looks, I just haven't worn any of them, I would assume they are just as comfortable. Check out these and these as well. |

I love Nine West, personally. I have several pairs of their heels I can wear all day and my feet won't hurt. They're also on the more affordable side. |

^I bought a pair of nine west black pumps for interviews and still wear them. Most comfortable heels I own! |

I would go with Nine West also
I love my Louboutins and while I do think he makes some amazing classics, I know I can count on Nine West to make comfy, trendy shoes that are affordable. |

I have an uber high arch, long toes and due to some foot problems...they swell really easily, so buying shoes is always hard for me...especially considering how much I love shoes...
I always love a gorgeous wedge. They can be dressed up to look flashy, or wear them with some denim shorts and a cute boho top to make it more casual. I find that they're comfier on my feet.

I have these in black and Ocelot, and adore them.
I find Betts shoes really comfy actually! I |

My go-to style muse is the ever-classy Kate Middleton, or Duchess Catherine (whichever you prefer). She wears LK Bennett Sledge heels, and they always look beautiful and classy. www.lkbennett.com . . . |

You could also just buy the thin, foam or gel inserts they have for high heels, if comfort is the problem. They have strips you can even use at the back or side of the heel if that is the trouble spot. |
