Broken tail bone- how to manage? en>fr fr>en

In short, I fell down the stairs and broke my tail bone (confirmed by a doctor) who told me to take it easy blah blah blah here are some t3s.

Well the T3s make me utterly useless and feel like crap, so I would rather not. The problem is that my job is rather physical (nope I should not be working, but bills are due at the end of the month and I would rather suffer through the pain than suffer financially).

Anyone who has gone through this have any tips on how to deal? Especially with sleeping. I have not had a proper night sleep in a week because I can only be comfortable for 20 minutes at a time.

I try and alternate sitting and standing as much as possible, sitting is worse than standing.... I'm just at a loss.

I cracked my tail bone...once when I was in 4th grade rollerskating, and once when I was 30 being thrown from a horse. I have no words for the pain involved, and I wish I had some advice for relief. I just don't. Sitting down to go to the bathroom was the absolute worst. There is no comfortable position to sleep in, but I personally found sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees worked the best, but getting up from a laying position was also extremely painful.

I guess I did a lot of ice, and ibuprofen. I don't think it really helped, but I kept doing it.

I second the sleeping on your side with a pillow between your legs. That is going to be the most comfortable position.

Get an inflatable donut cushion to sit on.

Hope you feel better soon! Hug~
