Wasn't there a dance scene in "Singing in the Rain" with the stars dressed as big babies? That's what I was thinking of when I saw this costume in their catalog.

That movie was Band Wagon and it was about triplets.

That awful Rainbow Brite costume's leg warmers remind me of these hideous "leg warmer" costumes from Libert's:

I think we should all plan a recital and just integrate horrendous costumes...just because. Might be fun to leave the audience with their head tilted sideways with a "WTH?" look on their faces.

that one costume with the leotard outside the pants looks like a camel toe waiting to happen.

Film their faces and send it to Candid Camera :D.

Dream Chaser, shouldn't you update TippyTappyToes? Enough material here for it! :)

You know, those rainbow brite leg warmers gave me deja vu. When I was a kid (in the 1970's) my dad used to take me to this really cool automatic carwash that would take like 15 minutes for your car to go thru. For its day, it was pretty high tech. The leg warmers look exactly like those big brushes that spin around and supposedly rub dirt off your car as it passes, then my dad would choose the "hot wax" cycle and these flashing lights would come on as the wax was sprayed on the car. Those were the days!
