pain and lack of mobility in left foot while in releve - has anyone had this? en>fr fr>en

I had this problem before I quit dancing, and now that I am back after a long break, it still is a problem. When I do releve, the top of my left big toe hurts, and won't bend as much as the other foot. I can stand en pointe more comfortably than in high demi pointe. I can still dance, but it worries me, and annoys me that I could get higher on demi pointe if not for this.

How did this start? You didn't mention a specific injury, so was it just out of the blue one day, or was there actually a moment when you hurt your foot?

I don't know when it started, I've hurt my feet so many times, and eventually things fade. It's possible that I stubbed it on a rock. (the step, not a rock, lol). But I don't remember, it would have been 3-4 years ago. Usually things heal in that amount of time.
