Hello!

I'm currently finishing up the placebo pills of my first month of Balziva (after being on Beyaz for several months) and I had three days of the heaviest period of my life. (It may be tmi but one day I was bleeding through super tampons every 2 hours and I never used super tampons in the past.)

Birth control is supposed to lessen periods so my question is: are heavy periods a side effect of switching pills? Is this something that should go away as my body gets used to the higher dose?

As a side note, I didn't have any spotting or breakthrough bleeding during the hormone pills.
