Just one traditional dinner, but I'll be hosting a Christmas Eve brunch and attending another brunch on Christmas Day. Also, there will be a Christmas Eve dinner, but that's usually very casual. This year, it's lasagna!

Just one. My family doesn't get together until New Year's, so on Christmas we just get together with Mark's family. His parents are divorced, but his dad is deceased, and his half brothers on his dad's side are not close to us, both in terms of distance and relationship. |

Just one. My kids and I are hosting on Christmas Day for my siblings and their families as usual. It's always pretty relaxed and fun. |

One traditional dinner but three 'Christmas' dinners.
I've had two of them already. My parents are at my sisters in Dubai this Christmas me, my brother and the parents (and our partners) had a Roast Dinner last Sunday.
Last Friday I had my works Christmas dinner, although I didn't have the Turkey (just the veg and gravy) as it looked a tad dry.
Then Christmas day I am going to Dave's nan's with him and his mom for my actual (polish) Christmas dinner

Technically 2, although neither one is really "dinner." On christmas eve we are having a potluck at work but it will be around midnight since we all work night shift, and then christmas morning when i get off work we are having a family christmas brunch. Friday night however we are having a big Hanukkah dinner Happy holidays everyone! |

I think it's technically three.
Work Christmas breakup (Italian restaurant)
Christmas Eve at my Aunt's (full-on formal 3 course meal)
Christmas All-Day Food Extravaganza at my BiL's |

Two. My husband and I are going to his parent's on Christmas Eve, then my parent's on Christmas Day.
We could both totally do without the Christmas Eve dinner...the cigarette smoke and the dog odors in that house just about kill us both. But that's not the point of Christmas I guess; at least it's only once a year. |

Just one traditional turkey dinner, round at the in-laws. I'm only hosting once but it's more of a catch up with the girls than a meal - perhaps I'll host more when we have our own place. We're having a meal at a friend's house on the 28th and probably won't see them before Christmas so that probably counts. But generally, just the one. |

None
I'm working on Christmas. I think my mom might bring me some ham and potatoes after their dinner, which is fine by me. The cafeteria at my work will probably have some kind of Christmas dinner for the patients, but I don't dare touch anything that comes out of our kitchen.

Three... ish
I am cooking a big dinner on Christmas Eve *Hehe actually starting cooking the dinner in approx 32 hours... Crazy!* for my household, and my sisters father and his partner if they want.
On Christmas Day we go out to eat... too hard to cook a meal that day, we have to travel to my grandparents so we don't feel like cooking, and nana gets too tired so eating at a restaurant is perfect... and no dishes!
On Boxing Day we are going to my sisters fathers for their christmas dinner.
So by the end of those three days I am going to be just about ready to pop! |

^ Totally misread that last word there. You would certainly need to do that after all that food! |

Just one...on Christmas Eve. We have dinner at our house, wife, me, two kids and spouses and the four grandsons (ages 8 6, 6, and 3.) We open presents here and they all leave by about 9-9:30. Wife and I then usually go to late church where most years I usually play violin (but not this year, our church is shopping for a new organist/music director so no one is in charge and no one has of yet asked me to play. They have been having "fill-in" organists. Last year another violinist and I did the Corelli "Christmas" Concerto and we each did an obbligato with the choir.)
My two kids then each have the "Santa" Christmas at their houses in the morning with their kids. My daughter and family then have a dinner at her husband's family (usually at his sister's house) and my son and his wife go up to her home in New Jersey, just outside of New York City. And we stay at home and watch sports on TV and decompress.

My family has always stayed home for Christmas. We used to drive six hours to see family in Chicago about a week before Christmas each year, but not since my grandma passed. Most of my family is spread out all over the country, so we don't see many of them very often. On the Christmas Eve/Day we're always at home here in the countryside. It's very peaceful and I always have to smile when people agonize over the holidays and talk about how chaotic and stressful it is. It certainly isn't for me. |
