Since my old salute still has me in braces, I decided to finally do a new one. Yay!

I love it when people update their salute photos. There are a few here which were taken years ago when the member was like 8 or 9...and guess what, they grew up, LOL. I also like it when they keep the old one as well.

As for me...Well my salute is from 3-4 years ago - and taken by moderator Hylndlas when we went out for lunch for the first of several times we have done this. When taken as a percentage of my age, 3-4 years isn't all that significant hahaha. Getting my braces off was a significant milestone for me as well.

Yeah, my old one is from 2007. I was like 22 and just about to get those braces off. I was lucky to only have them for like 2 years (or a little less). I got them way late in life because my teeth weren't really that bad. The main reason for the braces was so I could wear one of those appliances that widens your mouth and so I could straighten 2 or 3 squished teeth in front.

I also wasn't engaged then, so I had to get my ring in there! Haha.
