Fashion I bought Ugg Boots, I need help with sizing. en>fr fr>en By YumYumDoughnut Comments: 6530, member since Sat Jul 10, 2004On Thu Dec 22, 2011 09:27 PM
I got some Ugg boots for Christmas, and I am trying to figure out if I should return them for a size larger.
I normally wear a 9.5 and I got a size 8 in Uggs. They fit snug, but the big toe comes right to the end of the shoe. I heard there is a bit of stretch in them, so hopefully they will stretch out a bit.
Is ir normall to go down 1.5 sizes with uggs? I tried the size 9, and they were a bit too baggy. 4 Replies to I bought Ugg Boots, I need help with sizing. |

My Uggs are the same size as my street shoe--I usually wear a 7.5-8US, and I buy my Uggs in size 8. Uggs stretch, but it's mainly the fur packing down that gives the "my shoe is getting bigger!" feeling. If the big toe thing is bothering you know, take them back and exchange them. Try a different style of Ugg--maybe it will fit you better.
Good luck! |

You should be fine. I am a US10 and buy a 9 in Uggs. My oldest pair has stretched out so much that I could probably wear an 8.5 (but I don't think they come in half sizes). |

I'd exchange them. I'm a 10, and my first pair were an 8.5. I always had to wear thin socks and they were never the most comfortable. I got a pair of 9's, and they're amazing. I can wear thicker socks, my feet have a little wiggle room and I wear them all winter long. |

Mine were quite snug when I bought them in February, especially with thick socks. Now I have a lot of room when I wear thin socks, which will be good when I need to wear thicker woollen socks again.
I would exchange them if they're uncomfortable now. But if they're just a bit snugger than what you would expect them to be if they fit, I don't know if I would bother. |
