Not to get to personal about it, but um, I'm wondering about the going to bed part. Was this a first date? hahaha
*Scandalized* NEVER on a first date! We didn't even kiss!
...Though now I'm perplexed on how a first kiss could've happened in that situation. Maybe I shouldn't think too much on it this late at night... |

This post makes me realize how important it is to enjoy your own company!!
I've never gone to the movies alone, but I have eaten in restaurants alone when traveling or when studying sometimes I'd take a book and read and eat.
The one thing I love to do alone though is shop- I feel like I can just go to the stores I want and look at what I want, and especially if its clothes shopping...I mean the odd time its nice to have someone come with you for an opinion, but especially if you can return it anyways, I'd rather shop myself so I can spend an hour trying stuff on if I want and then just bring it home to show others the best products (whatever I actually ended up buying). So yeah, shopping alone is the best. No one has to care if I spend 2 hours trying on jeans! |

I've never done either. I think it would make me uncomfortable. Not that I don't like to be alone because believe me, I do! I just prefer to do so in my own home. I rent movies from netflix that I watch alone, or read, or watch tv...... |

I dine alone; I like to be by myself and read and pace myself through my meal. I don't really go to the movies, I never want to see a movie bad enough to pay for it, so I only go when my friends really want to do it, and I get pulled along. |

Does anyone go to bars/pubs alone? I feel like I'd be uncomfortable sitting at a bar by myself (i'm not sure totally sure why maybe a mixture of feeling a bit vulnerable, like I don't have any friends, that I have an alcohol problem or that I'm desperate for a boyfriend), but I guess some people do it to meet people. I go to coffee shops to read, but coffee shops have practically become like libraries and no one wants to bothers= you, and I'd like to meet new people. |

^ I don't go out to pubs/bars alone because of the danger aspect of it. I don't really want to be drunk in public, without having a "buddy" system in place. Who knows how low my inhibitions will be after a glass of wine I wouldn't do a neighborhood dive bar alone.
An upscale restaurant with a bar attached is ok in my mind. I usually order a cocktail but I nurse it with diet coke. I don't get tipsy in public if I am alone. |
