Hi everyone! I've lurked a little here, and enjoyed so much talk about all this dancing...thought I'd finally just pop in and introduce myself. And what a thorough site. My hat is off to all of those involved in making this place go!

A little about me... I'm a filmmaker and a long-time social dance-lover (you name it - ballroom, salsa, swing, tango, etc etc etc)... and actually, I thought I would share a little about my dance show I've been working on, while I'm here. Perhaps I should find another forum to post it in, too.

Basically, I've been developing a really great show for awhile, about dances all around the world, and have gotten a lot of interest from networks, etc. The time has come to start producing a first episode, and get it off the ground myself, so we can have something to present to networks and get this vision formed! I'll be shooting a first/pilot episode first, and need help to get this finished. I have a lot of interest in it, and am determined to do it according to the vision I've had. I expect this show is going to go places. It's a very special concept and will be made with the intention to entertain, educate, and inspire! Maybe it'll come to your area someday.

If anyone is interested in getting involved on the ground-floor, I'm employing a new concept called "crowdfunding" which means people can participate in making this happen, your names be credited in the show, be updated in the process...and it's a great way to say you were involved at its beginnings. :)

Here's the link for all that might be interested in checking out the show and campaign:

I welcome feedback! Thanks, dance-lovers out there! All your support is (and has been) very appreciated. Happy holidays and happy dancing!

Lucinda
