About Revelle Academy Dance academy that focuses on training pre-professional dancers ages 2-18 in ballet and other performing art forms like Jazz and Modern dance. We have been in operation for 4.5 years, and have 12 instructors on staff. Looking to add more students and also more instructors to our academy.
Artistic Director position includes:
Teaching classes minimum 18 hours per week
Student and parent communication (meetings, emails, phone calls etc)
scheduling for classes, programs, rehearsals and intensives
Costume ordering and coordination
Selecting, planning, staging and rehearsing 3 performances per year
Need to be proficient in Ballet and Jazz
Excellent communication skills
Professional appearance
Firm, yet kind
Go-Getter
Main focus is to train students for professional careers in New Method that is developed: American Professional Technique
Be flexible in approach
Willing to adapt to any situation for the betterment of the students and the Academy
1 year minimum commitment
Willing to sign and abide by non-compete contract
Coordinate smaller performances with student company throughout the year
Needs to have vision to move academy ahead to constant and never ending improvement and achievement.
Committed to excellence in teaching and directing
Needs to possess passion for dance
Follow budgets set for each area
Salary: $3,000 per month |
