My question is, will this be a whole new board?

When this happened to the SO board, anyone who didn't join basically lost access to all of their posts that were on the SO boards when they became private. I have some recent posts active on the Teacher board that I would like to continue to reading and discussing....are these all going to be yanked out from under me if I don't join or will they be moved to the 'Ask A Teacher' board?

The new board is up and running, a different board that what exists now, so you won't lose access to any of the content you have posted.
