About Resurrection Dance Company; RDC Resurrection Dance Company; RDC was founded and directed by Wenda L. Koon
in 2002 {company was under a different name}. RDC has a wide array of dance - ballet, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, abstract, and elements of modern and African; as well other genres. We are interested in remembering artists who have left an impact in the world. Artists such as Michael Hutchence of INXS, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, and Layne Staley of Alice In Chains hold important value to RDC. Our choreography, music selection, and shows reflect the importance of their existence, and for them to live on.
Also, RDC's portion of the mission revolves around the AIDS epidemic in Africa, as well as starvation, poverty, and disease. RDC became immersed in the campaign's ONE and Make Poverty History, and the Artistic Director is a strong supporter of both causes. While the mission is split into two different areas, the company aspires to inform the public, serving humanity, and remembering great people as well.
By everyone putting selflessness out in front, we can save many people who do not have the luxury we as Americans do. Be a humanitarian, not a mediocre person.

The program is designed for dancers aged 18 and older. All persons must be of an intermediate or higher level. The program will consist of ballet, pointe {ladies}, jazz, choreography, studies {hair/make-up, stage performance, auditioning tips}; and a question/answer session.
Schedule--
As of current, the program will operate on Fridays from 12-2P. This is to enable the cost of the training to keep it cost effective and to ensure that candidates are able to work, attend school, or look for work. The program can add additional days as time goes on. NOTE: additional study is available for the serious individual for $70.00 per hour.
Program Fees:
The program consists of a 21 week session.
Session 1 - $300.00 Per month {can change} --- NOTE: January is pro-rated at $200.00
Full session is $1,500.00
First session begins January 1012 and runs thru May 2012; a new session will return in August.
Payment Options:
Several options are available to choose from. You may pay monthly {$300.00}; semi annual of $750.00, or the entire cost of $1,500.00. By paying the entire fee, you receive a 10% discount.
