Tap Best character tap shoes? en>fr fr>en By aprilmay13135 Comments: 72, member since Wed Jun 08, 2005On Mon Jan 02, 2012 02:36 PM
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good character tap shoe? Most of the character taps I see on the shelves don't have very good sound. I use So Danca oxfords right now-- great sound-- but need a character tap just for looks for one number.
Any advice is appreciated!

Capezio should have that kind of tap shoes for you. |

Yeah, they have them. I just wasn't really impressed with their sound. The shape of the shoe I tried on was a little odd too... I think it was the Footlight. Just generally seemed cheap. Do you know of a particular Capezio character tap that you've worked with that you're pleased with? |

Miller and Ben makes character shoes that have a great sound. I have a pair, and they are an incredibly well made professional shoe. |
