I don't think these issues are serious enough to go to a doctor. I will go get them checked out once my University Clinic opens; I would like to get some advice from DDN in the meanwhile.

I have always been a heavy sleeper and I could easier sleep 9 hours a night if I wanted. I usually stuck to a bedtime of between 9-10 PM.

In the past 3 weeks, I can't go to sleep until 3 AM. I have never had trouble falling asleep before, and I keep waking up around 7 AM every morning. That gives me 4 hours of sleep a night, and I can't go back to sleep no matter what.

I have been taking about 1 hour naps around 2 PM because I can't get through the day without them. I have tried skipping the naps and I STILL can't sleep until 3 AM. I used to take 2 hour naps daily and it has never affected my night sleep before.

1. I workout in the mornings.
2. I don't drink/eat anything with caffeine after 1 PM
3. I tried taking a bath, used aromatherapy, reading, no TV/computer 3 hours before bed, sleeping medication, alcohol, listening to relaxing music.

I have also been having crazy troubles with urination. I feel like I have to urinate about 30 minutes after I go. I would be laying in bed getting ready to sleep, and I always get nervous that I have to get up again, which makes me actually want to pee. I try not drinking water before bed, but that doesn't help.

***Here is what my body is doing ***
1.I have had yeast/UTi's before and this doesn't feel like that at all.
2.The urination problems/sleep problems started roughly the same time.
3. I've also had issues being "drier" during sex and it kind of hurts.
4. My period this past month was only 2 days and it was a super light flow. I am usually a 5-6 heavy flow kind of girl.
5. I am not pregnant.
6. I haven't started any type of hormonal birth control.
7. No change in my diet.
8. I have also been getting headaches and I never get those. It feels like the headaches start at the base of my neck/spine and go to one side of my head.

Does anyone have any advice?

Menopause??? Only joking... :) although, having said that, there are a few people I've heard of that have gone into menopause in their 20's.

Are there any abnormal stressors in your life at the moment that might be keeping your mind ticking over or be causing your adrenaline to be running a bit on the high side?

I know you said you've had a UTI before and the symptoms aren't there that you usually experience, but sometimes can differ a bit, depending where in the phase the UTI is.

BUT, If no stressors, etc, I'd go to the doctor now, rather than waiting for the Uni Clinic to open and explain your symptoms to them - it could be something simple, like having a particular vitamin deficiency, to something a bit more on the serious side like a virus, diabetes, etc, but best to get it checked out.

Cheers
Di
