There was a similar post to this last year, so thought I'd start a new one for 2012 to see where you are all going, as some people go to some really interesting places!

Me and my boyfriend are going to Marrakech in Morocco for a week in July, I can't wait to go here as it should be red hot for a nice tan, and i really want to visit Jemaa el-Fna for all it's souks and to do some haggling for super cheap things haha

We've also set up a savings account to book a holiday to Mexico for over Christmas and New Year, can't wait to celebrate it in the sun!

So where are you all going?

I'm doing a road trip from my home in Victoria, BC down the Oregon Coast and on to San Francisco and then Anaheim. We're spending 3 nights to get to San Francisco, then spending 2 nights there, and then 5 nights in Anaheim where we are doing to Disneyland. We have 3-4 days to get back home and how long we take will just depend on how tired we are, etc.

In June i am going on a two week vacation to California to visit my bestie and a few more of our friends . I will be staying with the bestie and her family, i am VERY much looking forward to it as it will be my real first vacation on my own <3.

Nowhere, waaaa! Saving for our house has to come first this year. I'm hoping to use this opportunity to see more of my own country though. I've already been to Bath for the first time and will be going to the Lake District in a few weeks, also for the first time.

Where would I LIKE to be going? Well, everywhere. I heard on the radio about a charity Great Wall trek in China scheduled for March 2013, so I think I will look into that. If funds permit I would love to do Sri Lanka next year but it would definitely be either/or between China and Sri Lanka. The plan for 2014 is Brazil for the World Cup, so if I can do one of those Asia trips then I will have visited every inhabited continent. That is without a doubt the thing I want to achieve most before I'm 30.

I've already been to New York (New Years Week), but my plan is to go to Vegas sometime in the spring. This summer I hope to be going to Kentucky for Army training.

*fingers crossed* New York City! I get a wicked discount on the hotel and my vacation pay should cover the room plus some of the air fair which is nice. I have been dying to go there so I decided why not? I plan on doing mostly Broadway shows but I want to do some sight seeing as well.

I'm pulling for a trip to Chicago, because I've never been, but so far Jim is unconvinced.

There's a possibility of a trip to Australia. Jim's work is sending him, and I have told him repeatedly that if he goes and does NOT take me, that he's coming home to divorce papers. He is unconvinced of his need to take me, and as he knows I don't intend to file for divorce anyway, the threat behind it was kind of empty. But, he's talked like it's not that far out of the realm of possibility so that's cool.

I'm also rooting for a return trip to Vegas. I ADORED Vegas. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for big cities, and they just don't come a whole lot bigger than Vegas, baby!

And as always, there'll be the customary yearly trek to my moms house. It's hard to go visit my mom - she's a school teacher, so we have to visit around school, but she lives in the south, and it's just so freakin' hot there in the summer, that you don't want to go anyway, even if you've got the chance. So we'll figure that out at some point...

James had a shot at going to Alaska with my mom, but she's nixed that, so no dice for him. He's not going to Australia though.

I'm going to Sydney (in Australia) in a couple of weeks for dancing. And hopefully I'll go to England at some stage this year as well.

In five weeks I will be heading to New York

2. Back to Vegas
3. Somewhere warm like Hawaii.

These plans aren't set in stone yet, but I am slowly starting to plan these trips for 2012. It comes down to what my BF can afford, and we are trying to tighten our belts this coming year. Expedia has come in handy for super low prices, last minute deals.

I will be going back to Germany this summer between university semesters. It will be nice to be back and I am also planning on visiting some friends over in Austria as well. I will probably make it over to Slovakia and Hungary if I have time too.

I'm going to Boise, Idaho for a week to spend time with my boyfriend, leaving on Jan. 29. As my Christmas present, we are going to Sun Valley, ID for 1 days and 2 nights. I'm so so so excited. I will probably be making more trips to Idaho as the year goes on. Yay long distance...not really.

In April I'm going to Hawaii for 2 weeks. Its going to be my first long plane ride (new england to Hawaii, no layovers)but otherwise I am really excited

So jealous of those going to New York, I'd love to go there in December for my birthday!

^ Erm...good question! Friends have booked it for us. I've just checked and the website says Spark Bridge nr Coniston? No idea, I've never been before!

Last night I booked two nights in Wales for the 10th-12th February. I'm going to drive up and my dad has done directions for me so I can take exactly the same route as we used to back in the day, rather than the sat nav route. Hopefully it will be a bit lighter in the evenings by then, so we'll get to see some of the scenery on the way. Ever since I was a little girl I looked forward to one day doing the drive myself and now I get to do it, whoop.

The weekend after I'm going up to Edinburgh (never been!) to visit my aunt. So, by Easter I'll've covered off all the countries of the UK within 2 months. A first for me!

That's about a 20 minute drive from me haha, although I've never actually been to Spark Bridge, Coniston's nice if you're in to walking and i love Edinburgh! It's a gorgeous city, and quite small too considering it's Scotland's capital

I've always wanted to go to the Lakes, you're very lucky We will have a dog with us so there will be plenty of walking, but luckily the pub is only 25 yards from our cottage so not too taxing!

Oh that's good about the pub I'd watch out though some pubs in the Lakes can be quite expensive, but around the Coniston area shouldn't be too expensive, I think its more around the Windermere and Bowness area as that's where the majority of tourists usually go.

It's a really nice area though, South Lakes Wild animal park (which is in the town i live) is free admission at the minute too if you wanted to do something different

A big family trip to Tuscany is supposed to be happening sometime this summer, but no firm plans just yet. I usually go down to Nashville, Tennessee, a couple of times a year to visit one of my friends. I'm thinking I'll probably head down there sometime next month, actually. I really want to go to Vegas with Mark because he's never been, but we'll probably have to put that on hold until next year, because the Italy trip is probably going to pretty much exhaust our traveling budget for this year.

I got plenty of things planned, as always.

Private trips will include Berlin and Moscow, and Belgrade for New Years.

Business trips will include Leeds, London, Oxford, Fribourg (Switzerland) and maybe a few other places.

..Aaaaaand I'll be living in Rome (2 month) and Venice (3 month). Yup, plenty of traveling next year..

I really want to go to Vegas this year! If not there, I'm thinking about going to San Francisco to visit family. There are so many places I want to visit but won't be able to until I get a better paying job....so next year, hopefully?

We haven't got anything set in stone however, we do have a few ideas/things we'd like to do.

• We're off to Devon this weekend to visit his dad (we'll probably have several more visits there throughout the year)
• We also want to visit my sister in Abu Dhabi again. we're still looking into flights and dates but will more than likely happen April-ish time
• looking into one of the Sun holidays (you collect vouchers from the newspaper in order to get a cheaper holiday), if we do that it will probably be in Wales somewhere
• finally we both really really want to do a Europe by rail tour. I've done France before and he's done some Eastern Europe. We'd just get a train ticket and book hostels along the way. But again that's yet to be decided.

Hopefully going for a trip to Cornwall (England) with my uni flatmates and also booking a girls holiday to one of the Greek islands .. Can't wait!

I'll definitely be going to North Carolina for several weeks this summer...exciting, right?

I am hoping to get accepted to a study abroad program...3 weeks in Greece! If I do, that trip will span most of June.
