Ok...I have tried searching for an answer to this, but have been unsuccessful (probably will just call my doc to solve my curiosity).
I am on a mono phasic birth control (not "lo" dose). I recently skipped the placebo pills to delay my period due to a vacation. (Only stacking two packs though for now...wlll try again in the future if successful!)
What happens if you miss a pill when you are taking packs back to back? (This hasn't happened I am just wondering for sake of in case for future instances) I presume one would take another pill to make up for it....but how is it different than not taking a pill during your placebo week? You would have already taken the 21 (and more) active pills that ensures protectioned during the week of placebos. Get my confusion at all?
Sorry if this question is disjointed...I'm about to dash out the door!

If you miss a pill when taking packs back to back, it's the same procedure as for missing a pill = take another pill to make up for it as soon as you remember.
The only difference is that there is a higher risk of break-through bleeding if you take packs back to back; your body will recognize that you haven't taken a pill and can start the bleeding cycle. This should be stopped when you take a pill again, but some people (ie - me) don't handle back-to-back packs very well.
