I did it last season. One word. AWFUL!
First, the competition was only one day from 10-2. The male announcer was strange, shouting out comments after every dance, and some that were slightly innapropriate ("Don't ask for their number - they're the 'Single Ladies'!"). The trophies are rinky dink, so was the stage (well, ballroom). The scoring was a little strange, too. No one received a platinum in the entire 4 hours! There had to be 5 in the category to receive a top overall trophy, and there were not enought competitors for those specific awards. The "cash awards"? A 50/50 raffle! Maybe this is just my opinion, but a raffle is for a family reunion/churdch picnic!! I never received my video critiques, either. Judges ate during the competition, too. Poorly run, will NEVER EVER go back!! |

Please write an update after this competition. They call us at least once a year asking us to go. I have never entered my girls in it because the locations have always been kind of sketchy or the dates haven't worked for us. Good luck to your team!!!! |
