Does anyone know of a good, affordable physical therapist for dancers in NYC? 4 Replies to PT for dancers? (not sure if this is the right board for this) |

I might suggest a google search followed up by some Yelp reviews. |

Check with ballet companies (assuming you're a ballet dancer). Usually they have either a therapist on hand or one they like to work with at a local PT clinic who can, if you cannot afford his/her services, direct you to someone who can.
Good luck and feel better soon! |

Thanks, madseason & boleyngrrl, for your answers! I actually wound up doing a search through my insurance company and found one, but thanks so much for your suggestions! |

If the one you found doesn't work out, check with the Harkness Center at NYU. If they don't take your insurance I'm sure they can recommend some great PT's for dancers. |
