This is a really cool project you picked for 2012. I am already excited to see the wall full of DDNers postcard at the end of year!

The one on the left arrived yesterday, and the one on the right arrived two days ago.

They came today!

I mailed two at once; looks like only one has arrived, and that one looks a bit bent. Perhaps it was a rough continental crossing! I hope #2 shows up. I didn't forget that you'd like a Cape Cod card, but I haven't been able to get that one yet. Our plans for afternoon tea on Cape Cod last Saturday were postponed due to 10 inches of snow there. I'll send one when we go in a couple of weeks.

I bought two a few weeks ago and promptly misplaced them. Ooops.

Wow! That was fast. I'm so glad they arrived safely.

I'll send some real postcards as soon as I find some.

1. An amazing DDN member sent me a card along with flower seeds! I LOVE gardening so that was a pleasant surprise. ( Gardening meaning...in a little box in my apartment window...I should plant these in my bf's backyard)

I need to get off my butt and send you some... I think I may have a few hanging around from paris when I went like 15 years ago... if you want I'll send them as well... Believe it or not I'm having a hard time finding post cards.

Any tourist attractions or sports teams in your area? Little gift shops or local artists might not have post cards, but greeting cards with prints of paintings of the area.

And the U.S. Capitol Building with the cherry blossoms one is mine, since the guessing game seems to not have worked out lol.

Museum gift shops often have postcards. I discovered that some independent drugstores also carry postcards. I got mine while visiting Lexington and Concord (which figure prominently in Revolutionary War history). Mine are the Massachusetts and Boston cards. MoonliteFairy06, your card reminds me of the 19 years I spent in DC. Such a beautiful city!

Obviously two that I sent were from the Zoo gift shop. The other two were from Drug Warehouse (Mays). I have seen them in Wal-Mart before.

Tumblebug- Try larger gas stations.

I am sorry I haven't been updating. I just received a whole bunch last week, and I am going to go borrow a camera from a neighbor to take some photos. I've lost my digital camera.

Oh no, that's too bad. I hope it is just temporally lost around the appartement and not for good!
