This traditional yet modern tennis skirt dress was made by Maureen Duffy in July 2010. The bodice is made of red silk velvet and the skirt is black satin overlaid with black sequined lace. Over 2000 AB and light siam crystals adorn the dress, giving it incredible sparkle onstage. Design was expertly digitized by Anne Donahue (See photo in September 2010 Feis America magazine). Black lace soft shawl and headband included (sorry, no kickpants). The dress has been meticulously cared for and is in as-new condition with no odors, missing crystals, or loose threads.

Bust: 32-35"
Waist: 26-30"
Back shoulder to shoulder: 13"
Front length (shoulder to hem): 33"
Back length: 32 1/2"
Shoulder to top of skirt: 24"
Center front neck to top of skirt: 21"
Skirt length: 9"
Sleeve length: 24"

IMPORTANT: There is no let-out on the dress (dress is currently 35" bust, 30" waist), but Maureen can easily take in the dress at the bust and waist for a custom fit.

Asking $850 obo, buyer to pay all shipping costs. The dress can be returned within 3 days in original condition if not satisfied. However, if the dress is custom fit, the sale will be considered final.

Dress will be available to try on at the Pender-Keady, Shamrock, and North Shore feisanna (dress is located in Connecticut). Maureen will bring her pins if you would like her to fit it at the feis.

Sorry to say I won't be at those, but if you're seriously interested, we'd be willing to ship you the dress and let you pin it to your measurements, then ship it back and my mom (Maureen) will sew the zipper in for you, buyer to pay all shipping costs.

Love this dress! How well does the tennis skirt move?

Luna, the tennis skirt is supported by a layer of vilene and metal boning, and each panel is stitched 3 inches down from the waist, so the panels kind of "float" while going back to the same sit afterward. Does that answer your question?

Dress will be at the Shamrock Feis this weekend to try on.

We won't be able to go to Shamrock or Lynn, but will be @the Forbes feis in Pembroke, MA. Will you be there? We live in MA...would love to see/try on the dress.
