Now I know why my relationships don't last! I just need to find a smoking hot guy! j/k I've found my better relationships to be with guys that were a little more on the nerdy side of life because they treated me better and we had a lot of fun together. I was still attracted to them and they were above average looking, but how people treat me is more important to me than how they look.

I found this to be really interesting, especially because most people are saying it's their partner. I think it speaks volumes about how if you like/love someone you see them as attractive so it's hard to be objective about it. Looking back, a couple guys I dated were the less attractive of the two of us but I'm not sure I would have said that at the time. I'm kind of curious what people would say about their past relationships too and if we'd be more likely rank our bad breakups as the ones that were less attractive than us.

I think we are about the same in looks. He's very cute and has gorgeous brown eyes and curly hair. I'm pretty average, but he'll fight me tooth and nail to tell me that I'm gorgeous. I would say we compliment each other in looks.

I thought my ex was ridiculously attractive. Not much to write home about in terms of his body (losing mass amounts of weight because of drugs does tend to wreck ya...and he wasn't all that great at taking care of himself), but pale skin, strong jaw, big dark eyes, nice lips. I was super in to him.

I think I'd say that I'm better looking, but my fiance is way smarter than I am. I usually feel like a country bumpkin when we're together. And since looks are usually much more ephemeral than smarts, I'd say I have by far the better end of the bargain!

Objectively speaking, I'd say I'm a bit more conventionally attractive than he is. But I feel bad saying that, because to me, he's perfect.

I think we're even. He has a wonderful smile and dresses really well and I love his body and everything about him. He insists that I'm out of his league, and I tell him he's crazy.

It is so sweet hearing all these stories where each partner feels like the other one is equal/better in some way.

My boyfriend and I always say that if you feel like you are both getting the better end of the stick, it is a great relationship.

I think that we are pretty even. Other people would probably say me though, but that is more to do with the fact that I put some effort into my appearance (usually) whereas my boyfriend doesn't really care. He's your stereotypical IT guy.

I always thought that he was, and he always thought that I was, so does that negate each of us and mean that we are either both ugly or both gorgeous? LOL

We are both extremely active and fit, and very cute. So I'm most certainly the better looking one! haha No, but I am 19 and I look like I am 15 and he is 22 and looks 25, so there really isn't a comparison.
