Any music about today's hero's or anything that goes along with a hero theme for recital would be appreciated. We are trying to get as many of our songs to be about hero's as possible. Thank you for any suggestions in advance!

There were a couple of songs created in the last few years for the National Guard commercials:

"I Won't Let My Guard Down" by Darby Ledbetter

You could also use "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins. It's the theme from Top Gun.

My dd has just been in a professional pantomime (Christmas show based on traditional fairytale/story with a hero,, heroine, villain and funny dame always played by a man dressed as a woman for those not familir with the UK panto tradition)

Anyway I digress. the first act ended with a ballet sequence to Go the Distance from Hercules. To my shame I had not heard of the song before but I thought it was lovely and really lent itself well to dance.
