What would you expect from a conditioning class geared toward dancers? I've got a group of intermediate girls ages 12-16- they really need to work on their core strength- and I've only got them for an hour each week. They also really need to increase their flexibility but I feel like in order for that to really happen, they'll need to do the exercises I give them as "homework" instead of using our short conditioning class for stretching a ton. I'd love to do exercises with the girls to increase their extensions and jumps as well, but want to put a different spin on it rather than jump a lot and hold your leg up- because they get that in all of their other classes. Hope that doesnt seem silly!

Any ideas on what I can do to best utilize my hour of conditioning with them?
