Hi all this is my first post I was just wondering how other felt after seeing a dance performance? I always have this rush of energy and inspiration to choreograph either something completely different from what I saw or using one move I have previously seen as a spring board to starting my own piece.

what are you tips on starting choreography? I have tons of ideas but its like I over think it and it never turns out!

Yes, watching a performance always gives you inspiration.

To start a new choreography I always find it's better to just get started and don't be afraid to say something needs to be changed or that it's just not working whilst acknowledging that it's never going to look the same as it does in your head.
