Ok I've been feeling pretty sick for about two days now. Had a throat culture done yesterday,and turns out I have strep. I've started taking meds, thing is I've got a wicked bad ear ache in both ears. My doc took a look and said that she didn't see anything wrong, and the pain has to do with my sore throat. Is there a way to make my ears feel better? Will taking something like advil help?

I would reccomend advil or ibprofrin- both are anti-inflamitory in addition to pain relief. With your tonsils swollen with strep, they can block your eustation (sp?) tubes and make your ears hurt.
As the antibiotics work and reduce the infection your ears will feel better as well.
