If bath & body products could invent a new scent, what would it be? en>fr fr>en

Like I've said in another post, I have a super sensitive nose. A lot of scents really bother me and some don't.

Since Bath & Body Works make scents that smell exactly like they should, I told them of a scent I would love for them to make. They said they couldn't give me credit for it if they did make it but I said that would be okay. I would tell people that I suggested it and so everyone would know. The scent? Hot buttered popcorn! OMG! When I smell that, I am in hog heaven! LOL Hey, they make chocolate scent, why not that? I wish I could make it because I would. I so love that scent!

Which one would you invent if you could?

Something with just a light mint and maybe some lime.

Sounds more like drink mixers, doesn't it.

I know Bath & Body had Coconut Lime Verbina. I've never cared for either scent. I always thought the coconut smelled like suntan lotion and I don't want to smell like that all year round. Hey, maybe someone already makes one w/that scent. I'd google mine but I know nobody makes it. One can dream, can't they? LOL

I love the smell of popcorn and all, but do you really want to walk around smelling like you work at a movie theatre? As much as i love it, I think that would put me off. I like the fruity/floral scents.. nothing too strong though.

I had this body wash I loved that I got at a CVS, but it wasn't a big national brand. It smelled of bergamot and sandalwood, and it smelled AMAZING on my skin. Of course as soon as I fell in love with it they discontinued it. I bought up all the clearance ones I could find, but alas, I'm out, and I can't find a similar body wash anywhere.

I know hot, buttered popcorn is a food but you know what, I wouldn't mind smelling like that. Like I said, when I worked in a dept. store that went out of business, 2 different ones as a matter of a fact, we had a chocolate scent. I didn't like it because I am not crazy about the smell of chocolate. If I wore it I would smell like I worked in a chocolate factory. What's the difference, really?

Once, my sister had come over my house but we didn't know she had come over. Okay, I knew. How come? When we came in the house, I said "Who made popcorn?" I told my parents I smelled popcorn and since we all hadn't been home, who would have made it? No one else smelled it but me. Turns out my sister had been there and had made popcorn. I just loved how it made our kitchen smell. Call me crazy.

Your boyfriends pheromones? Who else would love that scent but you? Maybe they could make it and give you a discount? LOL

I have to agree...I don't want to smell like buttered popcorn nor do I want people around me smelling like buttered popcorn. That would be far too overpowering. However, I'd consider taking that smell over artificial rose smelling soaps and lotions or lavender. *gag*

Bath and Body Works used to have a pineapple fragrance that was my very very favorite. It was light and fruity, but not too much. It was probably 15 years ago and they discontinued it. So sad.

I would probably like an apricot themed scent.

Bath & Body makes a great cherry scent. It's Japanese Cherry Blossom. It smells just like the trees. I like that one. I still want some hot buttered popcorn! LOL

^ Eww I don't really like that one. lol. I mean like a fruity cherry. They used to make a children's cherry scent but I haven't used it since I was 12.

Okay, I hear you. I like the Japanese one though. I have a cherry bar of soap I got in a grab bag but it has another scent in it that totally makes me gag. I may give it to my niece. She might like it.

I would mind a lavender eucalyptus scent since I previously had some lotion and body wash made by some random company which I've never been able to find again. Similar ones, yes, but not the same...they usually have something else added to the scent which ruins it for me.

The Japanese cherry blossom is the body wash I have in the shower right now. It smells amazing to me!

I've never liked any scent that was related to food...like the cookie, cake, and chocolate types of smells. Oh, and ones that are supposed to smell like pie...I don't even like real pie so maybe that's my issue, haha.

I agree with the apricot thing. I used to have a body wash from KMART or something that was apricot and it was amazing.

Okay I have another idea. Fruit Punch!!

Oh, Fruit Punch! I would like that one too but how would it smell? I mean would a lot of fruits be dominate or just one? I love Mango Mandarin but all you smell is Mandarin, which is a fave scent of mine. I never smell Mango and I'm not sure what that smells like. I also love Cucumber Melon but all you smell is Cucumber, not so much Melon but that's okay w/me. I've smelled some Cucumber Melon from other companies other than Bath & Body Works but they don't smell real except for one. I was in a knit shop when I saw this Cucumber Melon Lotion Bar. I smelled it and was in love! It's in a container and it is all natural and gluten free. It's by Lavishea. It is solid and I put it on my hands. The problem? It's very greasy. It takes a long time for it to absorb into my hands so I have to make sure I am not eating anything where I have to use my hands like popcorn or fried chicken or I am not using my computer or basically doing anything that my hands will leave greasy. I wish it wasn't like this because I really like it. I think I will write to the company and tell them this.

Do they still have Juniper Breeze? I used to loooove that one. I don't use many scented products anymore because I'm allergic to a lot of them, but I guess in an ideal world, I would like it if they made one that was sort of like freshly mown grass, but sweeter. I think that would smell nice and not too overpowering.

I've smelled freshly mown grass as a scent but I don't remember where.

As for Juniper Breeze, yeah I think they still have it. Oh yeah. I just found out something and I had no idea they sold Bath & Body anything. Amazon sells Butterfly Flower, my fave scent that they discontinued. I want more Shower Gel which they have! If you want a scent, check there.

When did Bath & Body sell Victoria Secret scents? When I get e-mail's to check for sales, I see Victoria Secret scents. I didn't know one sold the other.

it would be the best if they could bottle that smell just before or after it rains. I don't even know how to describe it, but I'm sure you've all smelt it. Its kind of fresh and light. I'd shower in that smell!

^ me too.

I adore the smell of jasmine flowers, but they're super hard to capture accurately.

I think my signiature scent, if it existed, would be jasmine, rosemary and cucumber.

BTW, when I wear my sneakers too long, my feet smell like buttered popcorn, so it doesn't really appeal to me as a bath and body scent.

Moara, your kidding w/your feet smelling like buttered popcorn after awhile aren't you? Seriously? I eat buttered popcorn every night. Besides the fact that I love it, it keeps me regular. Yeah, I know that's more than you cared to know! LOL How come I don't smell like it? I'd never want to cover that smell up if that was the case. Boy, are you lucky!

That rain scent? I had soap and incense just like that smell once. I loved it but I can't tell you where i got either of them from.

All women would love the scent. Pheromones are meant to attract females, and he has a wonderful smell.

Of course if he's just been to the gym or whatever he stinks, but him as he is smells so good.

The ladies would swoon over a pheromone scented candle. Doesn't have to be my boyfriend's specifically, but I've noticed that pheromones smell pretty similarly.
