^My friend has something she bought at a Passion Party which is basically a little tube of phermones that bonds to your scent, and it smells different on everyone. On her it smelled like candy, on me it smelled sort of spicy and exotic. Very cool, definitely a confidence booster. I would post a link but I'm at work. |

^I've tried that stuff too. I don't know if it works or if it's what it claims, but on me it smells kind of warm and vanilla-y (unsurprising, as vanilla scents always smell best on me anyway.) |

I always thought pheromones were something unique to everyone and you could only smell your boyfriends, not everyone else. I guess I was wrong.
Once when I worked in retail, in the 80's I think, a guy came up to my register to buy something. He wasn't that close to me but he put his stuff down and said "What are you wearing"? I just looked at him and he said "You smell so good!" I said thank you and I told him I wasn't wearing anything. I had showered the day before and the only thing that even had a tiny bit of scent on me was my deodorant. Maybe that was my pheromones? Either that or whatever I showered w/the day before & my body lotion lingered till the next day. Probably daffodil. |

I would love to capture the scent of orange blossoms. I smell them in the air every spring, but I have not found a scent true to that smell. I can pick a blossom off the tree but its still not the same.
I think men smell good with Cool Waters. That scent drives me crazy!!!!

I used to work at a movie theater, then I worked at a specialty popcorn place. I LOVE popcorn... that being said I would never used anything that was sented like popcorn.

Raspberry Lemonade sounds so familiar. I think Bath & Body made that one once. It smelled nice if I am remembering correctly. |

fun facts; in some pub and club bathrooms in Australia you can buy 'wipe on sex appeal' from vending machines. Rumors are that they're just pig pheromone wipes
I used to wear the same perfume as my ex boyfriends sister. When he told me I was like "oh, do you want me to stop wearing it around you? That could be a bit weird" - but we all agreed it smelt totally different on me than it did on her. |

it would be the best if they could bottle that smell just before or after it rains. I don't even know how to describe it, but I'm sure you've all smelt it. Its kind of fresh and light. I'd shower in that smell!
Petrichor (who says shows like Doctor Who are just for entertainment?) The closest I've come to finding a similar scent are the fragrances Rain and Thunderstorm from Demeter Fragrance Library. (They have some of the coolest scents - hard to find in Oz though.)
The other scent I'd love to find would be the fragrance of the Lemon Scented Gum tree. It's one of my all-time favourite smells with a fresh metallicy tang that's indescribable. I've never been able to find a synthetic version (generic eucalyptus or tea-tree blends don't come close) |
