Is it too late for me? en>fr fr>en

So I'm 14 years old and have been dancing since I was 2. From ages 2-11 I went to a non-compeitive studio where I did ballet, jazz and tap. I was one of the best ones in my group, and I was with 13/14/15 year olds when I was 11.

When I was 12 I decided that I wanted to quit that studio and try out for my school's dance team. I made it and I've been on it for 2 and a half years now. I'm the captain of the middle school team this year. Our team isn't very good, and we only compete in Showcase Unlimited competitions that take place in high school gyms. We do like 2-3 competitions from Jan-April. Our technique is pretty bad, and our coaches don't really know what they're doing.

Recently my eyes have been opened to the fact that I could audition for a studio's team, like one that competes on stages (GASP :O ) The only thing is, I wonder if I'm good enough to keep up with my age group. So, I need help.

Right now I compete in jazz, pom, lyrical, and hip hop. I'm naturally decently flexible, and I've been working hard on it for the past couple months so I'm now getting really flexible. I'm also pretty strong, as I've played softball, volleyball, and obviously danced my whole life.
I can kick very high (pretty much as high as I think your leg can go).
I can do single/double/triple pirouettes.
I can do pretty good leaps (not grand jetes, but the ones where you snap open in midair into the splits? Not sure the real term for them)
I can do fan kicks.
I can do additude & C jumps
I can almost do fouettes, I'm pretty close to nailing them.
I can do a decent leap in second/russian leap.
I can almost do a toe roll/stand
I can do a fish flop
I can do a couple different types of leaps that I'm not sure the names of.
I can do calypsos/additude leaps.
I can do a tilt

Well I'm not sure I listed everything here but obvious stuff like chaines and chasses. If you were wondering if I can do something just ask, and please tell me if you think I could handle being on a studio's competition team, and if not, what I can work on. Thanks in advance! (:

The only real way to know is to audition for the team and find out!
It sounds like you've definitely got a handle on jazz and many of the skills/steps you need to be able to perform to handle yourself in a jazz class but unfortunately it all depends on each individual teacher to tell if you are ready! I would try out and see what happens!

We really can't say, we don't know what standard your studio team is and although you've listed steps that you can do we haven't seen you dance and don't have any idea of the standard you're at.

I agree with dancer57575, give it a go, do the audition, the worst they can say is no.
